Hi, I’m Jenn.

I’m a Maine elementary school teacher turned birthworker, childbirth educator, and photographer. I am an apprenticing midwife whilst pursuing my associates in midwifery at the National College of Midwifery. I have been a practicing birth & postpartum doula since April 2020. I always say that I should have known that I was meant to be a birthworker by the amount of serendipitous animal births I have attended since childhood!

I’m an educator at heart and watching folks step into their power through education is the absolute meat of this work for me. When we know better, we do better. I have a passion for providing comprehensive care and education to the folks in my community as well as connecting them to resources that can better serve their needs than I can.

I am fat, non-binary, disabled (shout out to my Lipedema pals), neurodivergent and working class. My care is shaped by who I am and the way I’ve had to move through life. I came to this work because I repeatedly saw and experienced the need for providers who just get it. My hope is to offer an experience for some folks where they are able to see themselves represented by their provider.

Caring for our communities is the one thing that can never be taken away from us, and that’s why I’m here.
